Crofthead Care Home is a luxurious, grand and tastefully decorated nursing home, providing high quality nursing and care to all of its residents. The beautiful, picturesque area of Fauldhouse, West Lothian is an ideal quiet location for a restful retirement. Shops, restaurants, bus stops and other amenities are all within a few minutes’ walk.

Crofthead Care Home is registered with the Care Inspectorate to accommodate fifty seven residents, all in single ensuite bedrooms, fully equipped. All rooms are single occupancy but many can also suitably cater for couples. A separate building, the Poppy unit, attached to the main building, is a specialist dementia unit.

Our spacious, well appointed dining rooms and four comfortable, plush lounges have all been recently renovated and most overlook the attractive landscaped gardens. Residents are also welcome to take advantage of our hairdressing salon, computer corner, potting shed, passenger lift, “The Steamie” which is situated within Poppy unit, and off street parking with level access. The beautiful grounds outside are perfect for enjoying the fresh air and delightful, picturesque surroundings.

Crofthead Care Home is well known for its superb restaurant reputation. Our cook’s marvellous culinary skills translate into delectable gourmet meals every day of the week. We offer an extensive, nutritious menu providing variety and choices, according to residents’ preferences and specific dietary requirements. Meals are served in our elegant dining room, but residents can dine in their own rooms if they wish.

The dedication and devotion of our highly trained staff has established our reputation as an exceptionally ‘friendly and caring Home’. Carers and qualified nurses are on duty twenty four hours a day. Our residents’ quality of life is greatly enhanced by the comfortable, warm and safe environment that Crofthead Care Home provides.

Our residents’ happiness and serenity is of paramount importance. Care programmes and activities at Crofthead are designed accordingly, to support individuality and independence. Each resident is encouraged to exercise choice in all aspects of their care. With our open visiting policy, guests are most welcome at all times.

My mother moved into Crofthead last November and from the first day until now, she has had nothing but the best of attention and care from all the staff. Management, nurses and carers, nothing is too much bother to any of the staff and as a visitor daily, you are always guaranteed a warm welcome from the staff.
The variety of activities that are laid on for the residents is excellent, everyone’s tastes and ideas are catered for. I am delighted that I was able to get my mum into Crofthead as it gives all my family, a good feeling knowing how well she is being looked after.
