Spring showers in abundance , but plenty of lovely sunshine too. Crofthead have been in the garden and enjoyed a few ice lollies on the warmest spring days. The daffodils and the spring flowers have popped their heads up. The residents have planted seeds with our Activities Team and gardening week was a great success.
We’ve enjoyed games outside too, lots of local park visits, the tri- shaw trips into the woodlands and a whistle stop tour of the golf course. Indoors we’ve continued the golfing theme, with mini tournaments and a you’ll often see us playing croquet, badmington and tennis too.
We have been entertained by the knowledgeable tri- shaw pilot who offers local folklore, history and often a musical number or two.
We have planned our annual half marathon ( both staff and residents participate and distances are based on ability, therefore including everyone)
We begin on June 4th at 10.30am and families are welcome to join us. This year we are looping the village and then walking Linlithgow Loch and the Union canal tow path. We look forward to waving to our friends at the Seagull Trust who take us out regularly on the canal barges.
