Christmas at Crofthead

In addition to a Christmas Lunch created by our Chefs, everyone enjoyed opening gifts with Santa, reading cards from friends and family and tucking into a mince pie or two.

Our local primary schools offered a virtual Advent Calendar and best wishes for the festive season. Our local faith leaders prepared a Christmas Service to share with everyone at Crofthead.

Thanks to West Lothian Food network for our surprise Christmas party food and to the Eastfield Centre/ Hub for the afternoon tea donation.

The local community and Crofthead continue to support each other. Crofthead donated a beautiful hamper full of goodies for the village.

The outdoor lights illuminated Crofthead for everyone to enjoy and our indoor Christmas trees were adorned with gold and red baubles. The Activities team were directed by residents on the colour scheme and the placement of tinsel on the trees.

The Activities team dressed as elves and served cocktails with Christmas Carols and modern tunes too.

Staff assisted residents to choose Christmas jumpers and style hair, paint nails and trim beards.

Our Christmas raffle, for a splendid hamper, was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to all the businesses and individuals who donated ( The Afternoon Tea company, Sainsbury’s, Scentsy and Partylite to name a few)

December even brought a flutter of snow!

We kick off January with a 100th birthday and we will be celebrating in style.

Can we take this opportunity to, again, thank you for your support throughout 2020 and wish you and your families a very Happy New Year!
