January 2022 Newsletter

Hogmanay celebrations, a piper, some neeps and tatties and a brand new year. 2022 begins with friendship and optimism.

A Burns Supper, creative arts, piano playing and the formation of a Dementia Choir are some of January’s successes.

Crofthead is looking spick and span and our beautifully decorated rooms are something to be proud of.

The first of the garden snowdrops have appeared and the bulbs which our residents and staff planted, are popping their heads through already.

As we transition into February we begin our preparations for the day of roses and chocolates. Feb 14th, Valentine’s Day lies ahead!

Feel free to post in a card or two for your special someone.

Again the staff and residents, thank you for all your support. It won’t be long until the beloved trishaw is out and about in 2022, carrying our residents around the village again. Let’s hope for an early Spring and some lovely spring sunshine and all the wonderful vitamin D.

Susan and Davina, the activities team, thank you for all your contributions to our art box and our fundraising hampers. If you have a special talent, like playing an instrument, reading poetry or arts and crafts, then you are welcome to email us.
